The Board of Intermediat Education Andhra pradesh was established in the year 1971.Present Vice-Chairman of the AP Intermeidate Board Education is Mr.Rajesh Tiwari, I.A.S and he is the principal Secretary to Government Secondary Education.Mr.Rama Sankar Nair,I.A.S is Secretary(FAC) and the Chief Executive of the Board.The Board of Intermediate Education Andhra Praesh is also known as the BIE,AP.The AP Intermediate Board will conduct the Examinations,Courses of Study,Syallabus changes if needed and granting the affiliations to the colleges.And it provide the directions and support for all the Educational Insitutions in the Andhra Pradesh State.
