Vignan University is a Private University.And it was founded in the year 1997.Vignan University was situated in the Guntur District which is located in the Andhra Pradesh State.Initially it was began as the Vignan's Engineering College. At that time it was affiliated with the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.Later it become the Vignan University.And it was located in the rural area Vadlamudi. Present Vice-Chancellor of the Vignan University is Vadlamudi Govardhana Rao and Principal is V.Madhusudhan Rao.Upto the 2008 it was called as the Vignan's Engineering college.From 2008 onwards it was called as the Vignan University.
