Record Polling in Maharashtra Elections 2014
In the Marathwada and Western Maharashtra registered the record polling upto 61.71 Percentage. And comparing to the 2009 Elections voting percentage has increased more than 7%. The Record Polling is happened in the Second Phase of the Voting which is occuured in April 17. The Polling Percentage in 2009 54.14 percent which is 7% less than the present Elections. And the Record Voting percentage is occured in the 17 Lok Sabha Constituencies.

Total 358 Candidates are standing in the 19 Lok Sabha Constituencies. In the 358 candidates the future of the Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, BJP Leader Gopinath Munde and the former chief minister Ashok Chavan is going to decide. The Election Commission of India surprised with the Voting percentage. The Maharashtra State contain the 48 Lok Sabha Seats. Ten Seats is located in the Vidarbha Region for that polling have occured in the First Phase. The Polling Percentage in the First Phase is 62.36 which is the Record Percent Polling. And the Kolhapur polling percent is 68. The Lowest polling is recorded in the Solapur and Satara is 57 Percentage.
